AUTHOR/SONGWRITER
D. McClain King

D. McClain King is a Pittsburgh native whose physical prime lay somewhere beween the skyhook and the alley-oop. Self-described as Nashville's most "unsung" songwriter (literally) his novel THE HEATHEN'S CRUCIFIXION SONG describes a young man's journey to Humanism. The novel combines three Southern subcultures - country music of the 1970's, the seedy world of regional professional wrestling, and the dangerous cult of Christian fundamentalism. The collision of the three results in tragedy. This website is the soundtrack to the novel providing access to most of the professional country demos mentioned in the book.
